This place is by far the best Indian Restaurant I have been to so far in the US. Taste of the food they serve is awesome!! You can order food with custom spice levels. The interior is decent and pleasant. But keep in mind that the portions they serve is really huge. So think before you order.
Many a times I have seen non-Indians trying out Indian food at really bad Indian restaurants and still finding food good. Reason is simple, they cannot differentiate between good and bad Indian food. All I can say is they read reviews online and then try out a new place. For people new to Indian cuisine, I would say that the food at Chutney could be used as a benchmark.

India Garden, Reno, Nevada
Located at 1565 S Virginia St, Reno, it's a much better place than "Taste of India". The food is Punjabi style. Lots of onion, garlic, garam masala. It's good.
I still wonder why many of the Indian restaurants in the US are untastefully decorated. This is one of them. But the food is delicious !!

Taste of India, Reno, Nevada
Located at E Moana Ln in Reno, it's most shittiest place you can ever be. Like all other Indian restaurants in the US, it boasts of authetic Indian Cuisine. Authentic, my foot!!
The place looks cheap, the waiters are shabbily dressed, the food is stale.
I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.
